Ahead of the 2026 Major League Soccer season, Orlando City revealed its new secondary jersey. Dubbed the Sunken Treasure kit, inspired by Florida’s Treasure Coast, the primarily gold jersey is designed to symbolize the gleam of the treasure carried by the fleet and the shimmer of discovery beneath the waves, a news release said. “We’re incredibly excited to unveil the first kit in club history to be predominantly Florida Gold, an iconic color inspired by a truly unique and authentic Florida story that reflects the rich history of our home state,” Pedro Araujo, Orlando City SC’s chief marketing officer, said. “This kit is a tribute to our fans and supporters, who are the true treasure of this club. It represents the memories we create together each season—moments that endure across time, much like the legends of Florida’s Treasure Coast. For us, real treasure isn’t found beneath the waves; it lives in the stands, in our community and in the shared moments our players and fans bring to life every time we take the field.”The gold jersey features purple accents and touches of white to evoke the contrast of sunlight breaking through water, according to the team. “Sweeping ships and a tonal lion motif stretch across the jersey, inspired by the carved figureheads that once guided vessels across the Atlantic, serving as a symbol of protection, strength and the club’s identity as the Lions,” said the team’s news release. The Sunken Treasure kit will be worn through the 2027028 MLS season. Orlando Health returns for a 16th consecutive season as the jersey’s presenting sponsor. Orlando City kicks off the 2026 MLS regular season on Feb. 21 against Red Bull New York at Inter&Co Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
