Three people in hospital following multi-vehicle crash on Florida Turnpike in Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) — Three people were taken to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on the northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike in Boca Raton on Tuesday.

According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, at around 3:20 p.m., firefighters responded to the crash near Glades Road (exit 75). Firefighters say the crash involved a commercial vehicle, a pickup truck and a passenger car.

Due to the crash, traffic was backed up to exit 69 near Sample Road as drivers faced significant delays.
