ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, along with other local partners, are involved in the Reimagining project to Camping World Stadium, and are expected to announce updates Wednesday morning.
The $400 million project is focused on upgrading Camping World Stadium and sealing its place on a national stage as a signature large-scale event center.

The proposed renovations are thoughtfully designed to: maximize seating mix to include a minimum of 65,000 seats, improve the functionality of the stadium, and to maintain and attract new events
Camping World stadium is already well known for being Orlando’s epicent for large concerts, festivals, and even major bowl games. But, local leaders the $400 million upgrades proposed will help to accommodate even more events, adding 65,000 seats, a stand-along event space, and modernize systems.
Closures scheduled for January 2026 were postponed indefinetly. The next scheduled road closure for Camping World project construction is set for March 2, 2026 on Rio Grande Avenue between Anderson Street and Church Street, and South Street from Norton to Rio Grande.
In addition to major renovation plans for the stadium, Camping World Stadium partnered with Valencia College, Orlando Technical College, and Home Builders Institute (HBI) to provide skilled trade training, pre-apprenticeship, and certification programs (e.g., welding, carpentry, HVAC).
Project completition for Camping World Stadium renocations is scheduled for Janaury 2028.
