David and Victoria Beckham sold their apartment for nearly $25 million in the building that has become a Miami landmark, One Thousand Museum.
The soccer player and co-owner of Inter Miami and the British designer paid $19.8 million in April 2020 for the five-bedroom, six-bathroom penthouse that stretches across an entire floor — 11,046 square feet— of the 62-story tower at 1000 Biscayne Blvd.
Te Beckhams’ sky residence sold for $24.6 million, the South Florida Business Journal first reported.
So, what is One Thousand Museum like? One can only dream.
The building was designed by Zaha Hadid, the first woman to win the Pritzker Prize, the most prestigious award in architecture. Views face the bayfront and the Perez Art Museum. There’s also a spa, restaurant and helipad, of course.

The building has also attracted other celebs, including singer Marc Anthony, who in 2021 bought an 8,400-square-foot apartment for $11 million. But the Puerto Rican salsero didn’t have the same luck as the Beckhams, selling his apartment for $8.6 million in October.
The Beckhams are staying in Miami
Despite the Beckhams’ condo sale, they’re staying in Miami. After all, they’re helping to oversee Inter Miami, which will soon have its own stadium near the airport. The 50-year-old soccer star recently shared a video on his social media showing progress on the Miami Freedom Park construction, the team’s new home.

David and Victoria Beckham not only made money on the sale of their penthouse, they also didn’t lose space or luxury in the Miami real estate market. Their $80 million mega-mansion on North Bay Road in Miami Beach has nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and those privileged views of Biscayne Bay.
In addition to a gym, spa and private cinema, the modern tropical-style mansion is notable for its high ceilings and large glass doors that connect to the outdoor landscape. They also have a private dock to berth the couple’s $20 million yacht.
The Miami metropolitan area is a favorite market for the ultra-rich of the world, who have bought second homes in South Florida. Almost 17,500 ultra-rich people have homes in Miami, the fourth-largest ultra-rich population in the world, after New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong, according to wealth analytics firm Altrata.
