Here’s what’s happening in downtown Orlando

  • February 11, 2026

ORLANDO, Fla. – Downtown Orlando is starting to change into a vibrant, multi-sensory arts playground.

Creative City Project is bringing back its iconic large-scale arts celebration Feb. 20–22.

Before that, you can check out Architects of Air’s Arborialis on select dates this month. It’s located at the Seneff Arts Plaza in front of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The experience offers a walk-through luminarium filled with color, light, and labyrinthine design.

The installation runs through Sunday, Feb. 22.

As for the IMMERSE event itself, performances and art activations will take over 10 city blocks in downtown Orlando from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Feb. 20 and 21. The event stretches from City Hall up to Central Boulevard.

Some of the large-scale art installations include a 14-foot heart at City Commons Plaza and OUC Lights & Raindrops.

During the day, the heart is bright red, and at night, it lights up with a bright-red neon glow. There will also be 50 smaller neon hearts throughout the plaza.

The OUC Lights & Raindrops installation features thousands of LED lights hanging from a structure. It allows guests to move through them and take pictures and videos. You can also take pictures and videos with illuminated raindrops.

Then on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m., there will be a daytime fireworks show at Lake Eola.

Creative City Project shared the following lineup of headlining performers:

“Drawn to Life” presented by Cirque du Soleil and Disney — “The Aerial Pencil”Cirque du  Soleil to be a part of performances and art activations taking over 10 city blocks in Downtown Orlando. (Cirque du  Soleil)

“Celebrating the moment when life first appears upon the animator’s paper, the ‘pencil test’ becomes the essence of animation. In this special performance created for IMMERSE, aerial acrobat artist Saulo Sarmiento delivers a gravity-defying act that inspires the painter, played by Chloe Polson, to remember that the power of legacy, love and friendship endure and continue to inspire. Accompanied onstage by drummer Landon Baker.”

“One of the world’s most recognizable performance groups, Blue Man Group returns to IMMERSE with an electrifying presence throughout the festival weekend. The trio will debut performances connected to their brand-new custom-built theatre at ICON Park, bringing their signature blend of high-energy music, inventive comedy, and immersive non-verbal performance to the stage and streets throughout Downtown Orlando.”

“Orlando Vocal Collective returns to IMMERSE with an all-new, high-impact experience reimagining the legendary catalogs of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Featuring bold vocals, fresh storytelling, and original arrangements by Chris Keough, Isaiah Carter, and collaborators, The Voice and The Songbird celebrates the emotional power of music to move, heal, and unite. This dynamic performance invites audiences to sing, dance, and feel every note — creating a shared experience rooted in joy and connection.”

“A 360-degree immersive theatrical dance phenomenon where the audience becomes part of the action. Fusing dance, live drumming, BMX tricksters, fire performers, and aerial cirque artists, this high-energy experience drops guests into a cyberpunk-inspired world where rhythm, movement, and collective energy take over. Designed to fully engage the senses, MESH transforms performance into a physical, communal release — an electrifying reminder of how art can help people reconnect with themselves and each other.”
