A Miami man has been arrested in the alleged sexual battery of a teen neighbor while she was sleeping, police said.
Reginal Vashown Miller, 35, was arrested Tuesday on charges of sexual battery of a victim 12-17 and interference with custody, Miami-Dade jail records showed.

According to an arrest report, the alleged victim said she’d run away from home several times and the week of Dec. 14 she ran away again and went to the apartment of a man she knows as “Reggie Mills” who lives down the street.
She said she fell asleep on his couch and woke up with him on top of her sexually battering her, the report said.
“Reggie Mills” was later identified as Miller, and when detectives spoke with him he denied sexually battering the girl, the report said.
Miller was arrested and booked into jail.
During his bond court appearance on Wednesday, a prosecutor said the alleged victim is 17. The judge ordered Miller held without bond.
