No. 20 Miami travels to No. 3 North Dakota this week to continue NCHC play. The RedHawks come in at 17-9-2 (8-8-2 NCHC) and returned to the national rankings Monday after a home split with No. 4 Western Michigan (3-2 OT win, 3-1 loss). Miami has won seven of its last nine contests dating to Dec. 29. The Fighting Hawks are 21-7-0 (13-5-0 NCHC) after a road split at No. 10 Minnesota Duluth (3-2 OT loss, 4-1 win).
This week’s games at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D. are set for Friday, Feb. 13 at 8:07 p.m. ET and Saturday, Feb. 14 at 7:07 p.m. ET. The games will be broadcast on NCHC.tv, with Greg Waddell’s audio broadcast streaming on MiamiRedHawks.com.
Matteo Giampa (9-11-20) and Kocha Delic (9-11-20) lead Miami in points. David Deputy (14-5-19) has a team-high 14 goals, while Vladislav Lukashevich (2-16-18) tops Miami in assists. Matteo Drobac is 16-9-2 in net (2.58 GAA, .913 save %).
