Dense fog likely today and tomorrow morning both on land and out at sea.
TAMPA, Fla. — Weather Impact Alerts are in place Thursday and Friday mornings for widespread fog that could be dense at times.Â
A dense fog advisory is in effect for all of the area until 10 a.m. for visibility of less than a half mile for the morning commute.
There is also a coastal fog advisory from the waterways of the Nature Coast down to Sarasota County out 20 nautical miles for visibility that could be reduced to 1 nautical mile.


Impact:
Visibility reduced to a half mile or less, visibility reduced to less than 1 NM offshore.Â

Extra time on the roads for the morning commute. Put some extra space between you and the car in front of you, and use low beams. Boaters use extra caution and make sure all navigation lights are working properly.
