Tampa police are looking for a suspect in a shooting that left a man dead Wednesday afternoon.
Officers said this happened just before 5 p.m. in the area of West Green Street, where they found a man in the mid-60s suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police and Tampa Fire Rescue personnel attempted to save his life, but the man died at the scene.
Based on early findings, investigators say the shooting was not random.

Detectives are actively gathering evidence, conducting interviews and developing leads to figure out what led to the shooting and identify the people involved.
