Flights set to arrive at Tampa International Airport were briefly grounded Thursday morning due to runway construction, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The ground stop was in place from 9-10:30 a.m.
According to the agency, the ground stop applied to departures from:
ZTL (Atlanta Air Route Traffic Control Center)
ZDC (Washington Air Route Traffic Control Center)
ZNY (New York Air Route Traffic Control Center)
ZHU (Houston Air Route Traffic Control Center)
ZJX (Jacksonville Air Route Traffic Control Center)
ZMA (Miami Air Route Traffic Control Center)
ZME (Memphis Air Route Traffic Control Center)
