Pop icon Hilary Duff will stop in Tampa this summer on her first tour in nearly two decades.

The multiplatinum artist announced “the lucky me tour” Thursday, which includes a stop at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre on June 23.

The announcement comes ahead of Duff’s sixth studio album “luck… or something,” which is set to be released on Feb. 20. The tour will span seven countries, with 28 North American stops, including two in Florida.

Duff began her career as a child actor in the late 90s, going on to star in Disney Channel’s “Lizzie McGuire” franchise and releasing her debut album in 2002. More recently, she starred in Hulu’s “How I Met Your Father” series.

Duff last performed in Tampa in 2004 on her “Most Wanted Tour.”
