Oddsmakers have predicted the Magic will finish as the third team in the Eastern Conference and fans said they’re hopeful for the upcoming season.
“I’m very excited about it,” Youssef Chami said. “I think we’ve got a nice roster. I think they’re young and hungry, very well coached, and I think we’ll do very well.”
On Wednesday, fans will also see Paint the City Magic Blue initiatives throughout Orlando, which includes blue lighting on downtown landmarks and Magic banners displayed in youth gyms across the area.
This season, Downtown Orlando’s sports and entertainment district is expected to break ground near the Kia Center.

Plans for the $500 million Westcourt project were announced earlier this year.
The first phase will include a 260-key full-service hotel with 16,000 square feet of indoor meeting space and conference space.
On top of the hotel, there will be 270 residential units. The plans also say residents who live in the apartments will get exclusive access to the hotel’s amenities.
Westcourt’s first phase will also include the live venue space, which is expected to hold up to 3,500 people for events like galas, banquets, product launches and more.
According to the plans, phase two of the project shows two additional residential towers bookending both sides of the parking garage — with a 25-level tower on the eastern corner and a 21-level tower on the western corner.
Limited tickets for opening night remain available and can be purchased at orlandomagic.com or by calling 407-89-MAGIC.
