Multiple suspects arrested as Hialeah tag agency accused of fraud – NBC 6 South Florida

An investigation into a Hialeah tag agency that allegedly committed fraud has led to multiple arrests.

The investigation involved both the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and Miami-Dade Tax Collector’s Office.

Officials said they had been looking into fraud at the Hialeah Auto Tag Agency on West 84th Street near the Palmetto Expressway since at least last summer.

The suspects face charges including official misconduct, providing false information on public records and forging vehicle titles.
