After 11 nights of nonstop perreo and an incredible Benito Bowl weekend for Bad Bunny’s halftime performance, it’s true that all good things must come to an end, and the city’s version of La Casita is no exception.
The popular pop-up, modeled after the iconic house stage setup used by the singer during his “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” residency, can be found inside The Dead Flamingo on Calle Ocho. It became so successful, organizers made the decision to keep it up through February for the Super Bowl, becoming a vibrant sanctuary for local fans to gather and celebrate.
But on Saturday, February 14, the bar will present the final chapter of its iconic Mi Casa Tu Casa series with a Valentine’s “Love Letter to Benito.”
Taking inspiration from house parties where guests can leave their worries at the door and step into a night of music and nostalgia, the finale will feature immersive photo ops and decor inspired by el Conejo Malo himself, surprise bites (yes, Oscar’s croquetas have made appearances) and a live performance scheduled for 1 a.m., so guests are encouraged to grab their cafecitos and stay late.
The Dead Flamingo Bar
It’ll serve as a dual celebration — a love letter to the music of Benito and a final goodbye to the series that defined the season. See Calle Ocho’s La Casita for a last time before it’s gone for good!
You can find The Dead Flamingo Bar at 1728 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135. Visit their Instagram for more details and tickets.
