Jeremy Adams graduates from Valdosta State University
VALDOSTA, Ga. — Jeremy Adams of Seminole has earned the Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Valdosta State University.
Adams is among the more than 1,000 students who achieved their academic goals and graduated from VSU at the end of Fall 2025.
57th Annual Pow Wow Festival set for March
SEMINOLE – The Seminole Recreation Department will host its 57th Annual “Pow Wow Festival” on Thursday, March 12, through Sunday, March 15. The festival will be held at the Seminole Recreation Center located at 9100 113th St. N.
Enjoy live music and nonstop entertainment, carnival rides, and of course, a lineup of festival food favorites. A fireworks display will light up the night sky on Saturday. Families can meet their favorite characters during the Character Meet & Greet, while wrestling fans can cheer on the hard-hitting action at the Pride of Wrestling Show. Show off your star power in our all-new Lip Sync Battle. Entry fee is $10 per act. As space is limited, interested participants are encouraged to register at the Seminole Recreation Center prior to the battle.
Ride wristbands will be available for purchase at the Pow Wow Festival. Wristbands will not be sold beforehand. Cost will be $25 on Thursday and Sunday and $30 on Friday and Saturday.
Hours will be March 12, 5-9 p.m.; March 13, 5-11 p.m.; March 14, noon-11 p.m.; and March 15 from noon-7 p.m.
