Bookworms can expect more than just a ribbon cutting for the opening of the new Barnes & Noble bookstore in Port St. Lucie.

Bestselling romance author Grace Reilly will be the ribbon-cutter for the grand opening and she will stay to sign copies of her “Beyond the Play” series, which has four books in the series. The event will be at 9 a.m. Feb. 18.

Grace Reilly is from Long Island, New York, but now lives in Florida. Her next release is “Yes, Chef,” a standalone contemporary romance releasing July 21.

The over 13,000-square-foot bookstore will be at 1745 St. Lucie West Blvd. in Town Center at St. Lucie West, where Party City used to be.

Barnes & Noble near me

This will be the second Barnes & Noble bookstore on the Treasure Coast.

There is one at 3001 N.W. Federal Highway in Jensen Beach.
