Yet another Canadian restaurant group has opened a high-profile restaurant in Miami.
This time it’s the Cactus Club Cafe from Vancouver, which opened its first U.S. location in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood in December 2025. Following the lead of other Canadian concepts like Joey’s in Aventura and Earl’s Kitchen + Bar, which has locations at Miami Worldcenter and Fort Lauderdale, Cactus Club Cafe is now open on the ground floor of Citigroup Center in downtown Miami.
This is the 35th location for the brand, and Andrew Latchford, president of Cactus Club Cafe, said he’s excited about the Miami debut.

“The food, design and energy are on par with some of the best restaurants in North America, but at a price point that invites people to come often,” he said. “Whether it’s lunch, afternoon drinks, dinner or late-night vibes, we’ve created something for everyone and every occasion.”
The catchphrase at the restaurant, which covers 11,500 square feet and seats 280 diners, is “elevated everyday dining.”
Executive chef Greg McCallum calls it “North American food that is inspired by the places and cuisines we love.” So what does that mean? Sushi and ceviche and wagyu carpaccio, along with a variety of salads. You can also order bowls, like a tuna poke bowl, a Mediterranean bowl and one with crispy tofu.

Pasta is also on the menu, including a Bolognese and a butternut squash ravioli with shrimp, along with a series of handheld items, such as burgers, fish tacos and chicken sandwiches.
As far as drinks go, Cactus Club Cafe is most famous for its frozen Bellini, which you can drink in the lounge or patio bars. The restaurant will offer a daily dine-in happy hour as well as a late night happy hour with food and beverage deals.
