Roosevelt Boulevard closed from Plymouth Street to Edgewood Avenue due to SWAT situation

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has said Roosevelt Blvd is closed due to a SWAT situation.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has said Roosevelt Boulevard from Plymouth Street to Edgewood Avenue is closed due to a SWAT situation.

JSO said road closures include Roosevelt northbound at Plymouth, Roosevelt southbound at Old Roosevelt, the Edgewood ramp to southbound Roosevelt, and Rensselaer east/southeast from Roosevelt is closed.

JSO said SWAT is responding to a reported burglary. At this time, no other information is available.
