Jeff Bezos quietly offloaded some prime real estate earlier this year.

More than a year after sharing he would be joining now-wife Lauren Sánchez Bezos in Miami, the Amazon founder sold his more than 9,400-square-foot mansion near Seattle. According to multiple outlets, the house was purchased in March for $63 million.

E! News has reached out to Jeff’s rep for comment and has not heard back.

The sale of the 3.2-acre Lake Washington waterfront home, which Fortune also reported Oct. 20, comes six years after Bezos purchased the property for $37.5 million after his divorce from MacKenzie Scott.

The one-story mansion boasts three bedrooms, six bathrooms, more than 300 feet of waterfront and a dock for boats and seaplanes, according to Washington property records obtained by E!.

When the businessman—who founded Amazon in the Seattle area—announced he was moving to Miami in 2023, he reflected on how much the city has meant to him.

“My parents have always been my biggest supporters. They recently moved back to Miami, the place we lived when I was younger (Miami Palmetto High class of ’82 — GO Panthers!),” he continued. “I want to be close to my parents, and Lauren and I love Miami.”

Jeff—who married his wife in June—also made the move for business purposes.

Blue Origin‘s operations are increasingly shifting to Cape Canaveral,” he explained, referring to his aerospace company, which maintains facilities . “For all that, I’m planning to return to Miami, leaving the Pacific Northwest.”

He continued, “I’ve lived in Seattle longer than I’ve lived anywhere else and have so many amazing memories here. As exciting as the move is, it’s an emotional decision for me. Seattle, you will always have a piece of my heart.”
