More details surrounding the new event space at Epic Universe include square footage, value of the work, and even some design elements.
New Event Space Coming to Epic Universe

The new building will be located at 1001 Epic Blvd., which is the official address of Epic Universe. The project, known only as P915, has been filed as a 53,886 square feet two-story event space. 29,749 square feet of that will be enclosed.
Sub permits include electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire safety, and roofing work.
Records show that the value of the new event space coming to Epic Universe is more than $20 million.
According to Orlando Business Journal, its total occupancy will range from 1,200 to 1,400 guests. Storage closets, a breakroom, and a kitchen are also included in the plans. Furthermore, the roof will feature a hexagon canopy design and may feature LED lighting, which would match the rest of Celestial Park.
Pictured above is a recent photo of the cleared land, which is located in Celestial Park between Other Worlds Mercantile and Super Nintendo World. The space is directly across from Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets. It’s been long rumored that this area would be for permanent events pavilion, and these new filings seem to confirm that. It should be noted that this land clearing is approximately 20,000 feet, matching the footprint in the permit pretty well.
Earlier this year, Karen Irwin, President and COO of Universal Orlando Resort, said: “We’re already planning for the next thing at Epic.”
Despite revenue increasing for Universal, they have also admitted the park is still not running at full capacity. Watch our honest review for Celestial Park below:
