Man shot multiple times, dealing with severe injuries after robbery on city’s Northside, police say

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was shot in his apartment on the city’s Northside during a robbery attempt.

Police said the man, an adult in his late teens, was in his apartment on Broward Road just before noon when the incident occurred.

He was immediately taken into surgery following his admission to the hospital.

JSO said detectives are continuing to canvass the area for surveillance in addition to speaking to witnesses.
