Two drivers killed after head-on collision on State Road 267 in Gadsden County, troopers say

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Two drivers died early Friday morning in Gadsden County after a head-on collision on State Road 267, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened just after 7 a.m. on State Road 267 near Walsh Road, FHP wrote in a press release Friday.

An investigation revealed that a vehicle, driven by a Gretna woman, was traveling south in the inside northbound lane of the state road, while a second vehicle, driven by a Quincy man, was traveling north in the inside northbound lane, according to troopers.

Moments later, both vehicles collided head-on, just before coming to a final rest, the release wrote.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash caused the northbound lanes of SR 267 to close in the area at that time.
