To the editor:
To all the people — To improve the quality of life in Cape Coral please email Director Joe Patrella of Cape Coral Parks and Rec at ccpks@capecoral.gov and tell him we wish to keep the old golf course 90% green to save all the birds and wild animals that live there. The other 10% could be for a senior center and boys and girls club, indoor pickleball courts, tennis courts, a pool room, arcade room and Five-Star restaurant.
On the outside, tennis courts, bocce courts, snack bar and a lighted 18-hole putting green.
Secondly, tell him to buy Red Fish Pointe and make it a nature preserve park.
Please also call Lee County Commissioner Kevin Ruane at 239-533-2224 and ask him kindly for the county to buy Red Fish Pointe first and then this other 104-acre parcel near Red Fish Pointe for Conservation 20/20. The 350-parcel will stop more flooding and has more wild animals on it.
We will have a greater balance of green space and development in the Cape.
