JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida Women’s Tennis earned a pair of sweeps at UNF Tennis on Friday. 
 

North Florida opened the doubleheader with a 4-0 win over Charleston Southern and then followed it with a 4-0 win over Florida A&M to remain undefeated at 6-0 on the season. 
 
North Florida earned the doubles point against Charleston Southern with wins at the two and three lines. Graduate student Anslee Long and sophomore Gabby Goyins earned a 6-2 win at the two spot, and the point was clinched when freshman May Fadida and sophomore Aryana Bartlett added a 6-3 win at three. 
 
In singles action against Charleston Southern, North Florida earned the sweep with straight-set wins on courts three, four and five. Fadida turned in a 6-1, 6-4 win on four to extend the lead, while Goyins added a 6-1, 6-2 win at five. Bartlett clinched the sweep with 6-1, 7-5, win at the three line. 
 

In the match against Florida A&M, North Florida earned the early advantage in doubles action with a 6-1 win at the three line from Fadida and Bartlett. The point was clinched when senior Laurie Barendse and graduate student Isabel Oliveira picked up a 6-4 win at the top line. 
 
North Florida picked up its second sweep with wins on courts one, three and five in singles action. Barendse earned a 6-2, 6-1 win at the top court, while Bartlett made quick work on three, 6-1, 6-0. Goyins clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-0 win on five for extend her single start to 6-0 on the season.
