• I am ticked off that I called my doctor’s office first in December and then again on Tuesday after they canceled my appointment because the doctor was ill. They have never returned any of my calls. When you call them, they pick up and say they’re going to put you on a short hold, which either turns into 10 minutes and then you get disconnected, or when you call back you hang on for another 10 minutes only to be sent to voicemail and never called back. I would just like to let your office know that I have found a new doctor.
• Orange County employees need an attitude adjustment. How rude. They either won’t help people while on the phone with them and direct them to “do it yourself online,” slam the phone down or don’t answer the phones. Mailboxes are always full. A robot seems like a better option for taxpayers.
The flip side
• Sincere thank yous to the four wonderful Palm Bay Fire Rescue pros who came over by request to install our new smoke detectors because we can no longer scale steep ladders to our high ceilings. True civic treasures. We’re in good hands in Palm Bay.
• Thank you and God bless all of you who rescued the manatee from the storm drain.
• I guess my ticked off submission about not giving a page to the political cartoon in the digital edition paid off. I didn’t have to search for it, someone listened and gave it its own page. Thanks.
