Four-star wide receiver Jamarin Simmons is from Tallahassee, Florida, but the Florida State Seminoles are currently running second in his recruitment behind the Clemson Tigers. They have some time to pass their ACC rival, and he has now scheduled his official visit with FSU.

According to Zach Blostein of Noles247, Simmons will take his official visit with the Seminoles on June 5. That is emerging as a critical weekend for Mike Norvell’s program, as four-star safety commit Mekhi Williams, four-star defensive line target Santana Harvey, and four-star running back Ty Keys will also take their official visits then.

Simmons is ranked as the No. 127 overall player and No. 19 wide receiver in the 247Sports composite. The 5-foot-11, 165-pounder is also the No. 12 player from Florida.

He is the latest blue-chip wide receiver to schedule an official visit with the Seminoles, as Tim Harris Jr. has them in the mix with several top targets. Four-star wideouts Sean Green and Jabari Watkins will also visit in June.

He had a strong junior season at Godby, catching 59 passes for 932 yards and 14 touchdowns. The Seminoles do not currently have a wide receiver committed, and they would love to make a move in Simmons’ recruitment and change that.
