Four-star recruit Jabari Watkins is one of the top wide receivers in the 2027 recruiting cycle, and he is a major target for the Florida State Seminoles. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder is from nearby Thomasville, Georgia, and named them his leader after visiting recently.

He has now scheduled an official visit with the Seminoles for June 12. He was previously committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers and is being recruited by programs across the country.

Watkins is ranked as the No. 204 overall player and No. 28 wide receiver in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 24 player from Georgia.

He had an excellent junior season at Thomas County Central, which went 15-0 and won the state championship. Watkins caught 57 passes for 882 yards and 11 touchdowns, leading them in all three areas. 2026 defensive line signee Cam Brooks also played for Thomas County Central and could be an asset in FSU’s work to land Watkins.

The Seminoles have five commitments in the 2027 recruiting cycle, but are still looking for their first at wide receiver. Tim Harris Jr. has them in the mix with several top targets, and Watkins’ recruitment will be one to watch.
