Jacksonville police responding to reported discharging of firearm at The Avenues mall

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office confirmed it is responding to a reported discharging of a firearm at The Avenues mall on Saturday evening.

First Coast News crews at the scene saw crime scene tap blocking off a portion of the parking lot. However, it’s unclear at this point if anyone was hurt or taken into custody.
