Officers with the St. Petersburg Police Department responded to a call about a man shot a home on 7th St. S at around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — St. Petersburg police are investigating a shooting which they say left a man dead Saturday evening. 

Officers responded to a call about a man shot at a home on 7th St. S at around 7:30 p.m. Police say the man died from his injuries.

Detectives say they don’t believe this was random, and there is no danger to the public.
