A rollover crash on Florida’s Turnpike in Boynton Beach on Saturday sent several people to the hospital and killed one person, officials said.
According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, crews arrived at the northbound Turnpike, around Mile Marker 90, after receiving reports of a roller crash.
At the scene, crews found an SUV and a truck that had severe damage, and found several patients.
A total of seven people were involved in the crash, with six being taken to the hospital as trauma alerts and one person being pronounced dead at the scene.
The Florida Highway Patrol has since taken over the investigation.
