A person, along with four dogs and 1 cat, was evacuated following a Sunday morning commercial fire in Altamonte Springs, according to the Seminole County Fire Department. Firefighters responded to 1320 East Altamonte Drive for a storage unit fire at the Safety business store. An employee and five animals from the adjacent Roll Over pet daycare were evacuated. No injuries were reported. The fire was contained quickly, according to SCFD.The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation; however, fire officials said it’s most likely attributed to electrical.
