Florida Registered Paralegal of the Year Award nominations now being accepted

FRP logoThe Florida Registered Paralegal Enrichment Committee is now accepting nominations from legal aid groups, civic organizations, lawyers, and fellow paralegals for candidates for its 2026 FRP of the Year Award.

FRP of the Year Award honors individuals who have demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to enhancing communication, networking, and camaraderie among FRPs.

Consider the following before submitting nominations:

Is the nominee an FRP in good standing?

Has the nominee consistently exceeded the expectations of the paralegal profession and demonstrated those skills in day-to-day dealings?

Has the nominee made any significant or important contributions to the legal community?

Has the nominee demonstrated the ability to provide guidance within a leadership role and maintained a positive, respectful, and professional demeanor?

Has the nominee made any improvements to a process or system that increased efficiency or quality of work?

What are some of the nominee’s personal or professional accomplishments?

The award will be presented at the FRP Reception in conjunction with the 2026 the Annual Florida Bar Convention in Orlando. The recipient will receive travel and meal expenses for attendance at the convention, including a one-night hotel stay.

Nominations must be received no later than 5 p.m., March 20.
