Andreas Visilias is seeing double.
At least when it comes to Slipaway Food Truck Park, that is.
As of last month, Visilias now has two food trucks back-to-back at Cape Coral’s first and only food truck park.
“We were going to events, company, condos (with the newly added food truck),” he said. “Then it came up that somebody was leaving here.”
Visilias’ Street Wok food truck filled the spot vacated by Chop It Up (more on that in a minute), adding Asian food to the already diverse Slipaway lineup.
“People seem happy to have our truck inside here,” Visilias said. “They’ve been happy with our food, happy with the flavors. We do it all from scratch, from our recipes.”
You’ll find it to the left upon entering Slipaway from the main entrance, parked between Philly Express and Lobster Chef.
Visilias, who also owns that latter truck, is no stranger to food truck parks.

Street Wok is the newest addition to Slipaway Food Truck Park in Cape Coral.
The Greece native also owns Gyros 2 Go and another Lobster Chef at Backyard Social in Fort Myers and, until a year ago, had a Gyros 2 Go truck at Celebration Park in Naples.
And when the extra space at Slipaway opened up, it was too good for him to pass up.
“This is one of the best (food truck parks) around,” Visilias said. “It’s new. It’s by the water. There’s a big community here that was looking for something like this. They’re happy to have this here.”
Asian favorites on the menu
Mongolian beef is a best-seller at Street Wok, located at Slipaway Food Truck Park in Cape Coral.
And so far, they’ve been loving the best-selling crab rangoon with a sweet chili sauce from the appetizers and the Mongolian beef — served with lo mein, or jasmine or fried rice — from the entrees.
You’ll also find egg rolls, bao bun (pork belly or fried chicken), dumplings, General Tso’s chicken (Visilias’ favorite), tonkotsu ramen, orange chicken and pork belly Korean BBQ on the menu. Sides include fried rice, lo mein and jasmine steamed rice.
“Everything is made fresh,” Visilias said. “We don’t buy anything already made.”

Andreas Visilias owns two food trucks at Slipaway in Cape Coral — Lobster Chef and the neighboring Street Wok.
While Street Wok is anchored at Slipaway for a year-plus, Visilias is always planning more.
“There’s always a plan for another truck,” he said. “Maybe a taco truck somewhere next.”
Slipaway is located at 1811 Cape Coral Parkway. Follow on Facebook for more.
What happened to the previous food truck?
When Corrina Hohl and Evan Cassell pulled Chop It Up out of Slipaway on Jan. 1, they figured they would get back on the road with it. And while that’s still the plan, they took a detour.

Street Wok has appetizers and entrees on its menu at Slipaway Food Truck Park in Cape Coral.
The couple opened Chop It Up Sandwiches, their first brick-and-mortar, on Saturday, Jan. 31.
It’s tucked away inside a corner of Oasis Outdoors (previously Sunflower Market) off Hancock Bridge Parkway in North Fort Myers.
There you’ll find the same sandwiches with a twist — crafted by combining all the ingredients, chopping them into small pieces, and then placing everything into the bread or wrap — plus more salads and hot sandwiches, too.
It’s open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday at 1001 Palm Ave., Suite 1, North Fort Myers. Call (239) 628-2775 or go to chopitupsandwiches.com and follow on Facebook for more.
