House fire reported in North Miami Flames erupted inside a home in North Miami Monday morning.
NORTH MIAMI, Fla. — Flames erupted inside a home in North Miami Monday morning.
The fire was reported in the area of Northeast 122nd Terrace and 12th Court.
Local 10’s Trent Kelly spoke to a neighbor who said he arrived home at about 5:30 a.m. and saw heavy smoke coming from the roof of his friend’s house.
He said the woman was outside the house, wrapped in a blanket, when he arrived and she appeared to be OK.
It’s unclear whether anyone else was inside the home at the time.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
