Harper Elise Gjertsen, daughter of David and Jenna Gjertsen of Seminole, will be called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, March 7 at Temple Beth-El in St. Petersburg.
Harper is a seventh grade student at James B. Sanderlin K-8, IB World School. She is a member of the National Junior Art Honor Society, a Girl Scout Cadette and served on the Teen Activity Board with the Seminole Recreation Department. Active in sports she is a defender for the Seminole Football
Club. Harper enjoys travel and exploring new places and cultures. This past summer she joined a group of Sanderlin teachers and friends on a 10 day educational adventure through France and England and is looking forward to the 2027 trip to Thailand.
David and Jenna Gjertsen will host a luncheon at Temple Beth-El on Saturday, March 7.
Special guests will include Christopher and Shonna Rodriquez from San Diego, CA.
