St. Lucie County detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred early Monday morning.
Deputies responded to the 3200 block of Oleander Avenue at around 12:45 a.m. and located a male who had been shot and killed.
In a 10 a.m. update, deputies say a juvenile male suspect is in custody, and this is believed to be an isolated incident with no threat to the community.
The homicide investigation is still underway, but Oleander Avenue is open to traffic as of 9:45 a.m.
