Juvenile arrested after multiple vehicles, homes shot in Apopka, police say

A juvenile is facing charges after reports of bullet holes in unoccupied vehicles and homes were received on Friday, according to the Apopka Police Department.Police received the reports of a shooting around 11 a.m. in the Summerwell Avian Pointe subdivision. Once officers arrived on the scene, they saw bullet holes in unoccupied vehicles and homes in the area. However, no injuries were reported. The Apopka PD said a juvenile was charged with:Shooting into or throwing deadly missiles into dwellings, vehicles, or public or private buildings.Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.Firing a weapon in public or on residential property.Unlawful possession of a firearm by a person under 18 years of age.Details about the suspect’s identification were not released.
