LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.—The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Lehigh Acres man accused of writing an electronic threat to kill his co-workers.
According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect, Timothy West, was arrested over the past weekend after receiving a report regarding threatening messages.
Deputies say that West had engaged in an argument with his co-workers during the past week. After the argument, West allegedly began sending text messages and posting on social media, making threats to harm a coworker and others at the workplace.
One of West’s co-workers, not affiliated with the conflict, provided the above details to law enforcement.
Following their investigation, deputies located West at his home and arrested him. He is being charged with a written electronic threat to kill/mass shooting.
