  • February 16, 2026

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One in 5 children in Northeast Florida goes to bed hungry. That’s more than 93,000 children who do not have enough food at home.

One in 7 adults, more than 310,000 of your neighbors, are facing hunger as well.

Feeding Northeast Florida works every day to reduce those numbers.

The CEO joined my 10 a.m. News4JAX+ streaming show to explain the role the food bank plays in fighting hunger where you live and how you can help.
