A 26-year-old Port St. Lucie man has been charged with attempted murder after an incident at Stuart Beach, according to Martin County sheriff’s officials.

Said Alexander Hernandez Gonzalez was arrested about 3:20 p.m. Feb. 15 and charged with premeditated attempted first-degree murder, according to officials.

He remained in the Martin County Jail on Feb. 16 without bail.
