TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Two men are now behind bars for life in connection to a February 2024 murder in Tallahassee.
Jordan Presley and Kadeem Phillips were found guilty of first-degree murder last week aftera three-day trial, according to the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida State Attorney’s Office.

Their life sentences come after the two were accused of shooting a man on Parkbrook Court in 2024 with two other men, the attorney’s office wrote in a press release Monday.
The group of four men, including Presley and Phillips, lured the victim out of his home by pretending they hit his car, per the release. However, when the victim stepped outside, officials said the men attempted to rob him just before shooting him nine times and killing him.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the attorney’s office.
The two other suspects, Jvashni Desanges and Walter Hodge, involved in the incident have not been sentenced yet.

Court records show that Desanges testified against Phillips and Presley at trial.
