The No. 14 Florida State Seminoles baseball team is set to play its first road game of the season on Tuesday when it plays the Jacksonville Dolphins at John Sessions Stadium. The game is set to start at 6 p.m. ET and will be streamed on ESPN+.

The Seminoles (2-0) announced on Monday that redshirt sophomore left-hander Payton Manca will start the game on the mound. He will be making his season debut and is expected to be the weeknight starter to begin the season. He played in 13 games last season, making four starts and pitching 13 1/3 innings.

He finished with a 6.56 ERA, allowing 19 runs (17 earned) on 17 hits and 16 walks, striking out 24 batters. He held opponents to a .202 batting average and allowed seven extra-base hits.

Jacksonville will be starting righty Ben Baker-Livingston. The New Mexico transfer did not play last season after suffering an injury the season before. He has a career 9.33 ERA in 54 innings pitched.

The Dolphins are 4-0 to open the 2026 season, sweeping Rhode Island. They outscored them 46-13, scoring 10 or more runs in three of the games. FSU leads the series against Jacksonville 138-42 and has won seven in a row and 10 of the last 11.
