Tyreek Hill will be on a different NFL team in 2026.

The Miami Dolphins officially released Hill on Monday, ending his tenure with them. He spent the last four seasons with the Dolphins after they acquired him from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hill is recovering from a torn ACL and a dislocated knee after getting hurt against the New York Jets on Sept. 29. He finished the 2025 season with 21 receptions for 265 yards and a touchdown.

His best season with the Dolphins came in 2023, when he finished with 119 receptions for career-highs 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns. He compiled two 1,700-yard seasons during his tenure with the Dolphins.

After the Dolphins released Hill, he thanked them via an Instagram post.

“From the bottom of my heart, Thank You To the entire @miamidolphins organization, my teammates, the staff, and most importantly, Fins Nation, for an unforgettable 4 years,” part of Hill’s caption read. “From the moment I landed in Miami, I felt the Love. You believed in me. You pushed me. You celebrated with me. These past few years have been some of the most meaningful of my life and career.”

“So to everyone wondering what’s next… just wait on it.
The Cheetah will be back…Born Again.”

Before Hill was traded to the Dolphins, he spent six seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. This will be the first time that Hill is a free agent.
