Avelo Airlines says additional flights from Rochester to Florida will start soon.
The nonstop flights will fly from the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport to both Orlando and Lakeland.
Those flights will be in service just in time for winter, starting on Dec. 3. They will take off on Wednesdays, in addition to the current scheduled flights on Mondays and Fridays. One-way fares start at $57, Avelo says.
