The Gasparilla Music Festival is making its comeback at a new venue at Water Street Tampa — and now we know which artists are playing.
Indie rock band Mt. Joy, DJ duo Two Friends and Southern rock jam band Gov’t Mule will headline the three-day music festival at Meridian Fields on April 10-12.
Among the other acts: Shakey Graves, Jai Wolf, Drive-By Truckers, Bryce Vine, GZA & The Phunky Nomads and Kaitlin Butts.
Local bands on the lineup include Rohna, Pet Lizard, Soft Cuff, Light the Wire, Little Giver and Peli Gene.
The Gasparilla Music Festival is returning for the the first time since 2024. The 2025 festival, which was supposed to take place at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, was canceled “due to the ongoing financial strain caused by two years of extreme weather and unforeseen circumstances.”
This year’s festivities will be take place on Meridian Fields — a 11.5-acre area at 101 S Meridian Avenue owned by the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority. Organizers are expecting 10,000 people per day.
Weekend passes start $100. General admission single-day tickets start at $55, with single-day VIP starting at $135. Tickets are available at gmftickets.com.
