Harry Eugene Garrett, 53, of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, surrounded by those he loved most. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville with Rev. Mike Jarman and Rev. Eric Tracy officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Onslow Memorial Park.

Born on October 23, 1972, in Frankfort, Indiana, he was the cherished son of Arthur Garrett and Wan Cha Garrett.

Harry was a devoted son, a wonderful husband, the best daddy and Papa, a loyal friend, and a kind-hearted man whose warmth touched many lives. He carried himself with quiet strength, steady determination, and a willingness to help anyone in need.

He found joy in life’s simple pleasures: spending time with family and friends, sharing stories and laughter, and most of all walking the Surf City Bridge with his grandbaby and wife (papa, Gigi and LK). Harry will be remembered for his contagious smile, his sense of humor, and the unwavering love he had for those closest to him.

He is survived by his loving father, Arthur Garrett; wife Natasha “Tassy” Garrett, daughter Marisa “Mina Mo” Bryan and husband Austin Bryan; grandbaby Lainey Kate; and many family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his mother, and grandmother who welcomed him with open arms.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you bring a photograph of yourself with Harry—or a favorite picture of Harry—to share and cherish in his memory.

Harry’s legacy of strength, determination, compassion and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
