PORT ST. LUCIE — Police are searching for a person who allegedly shot a man at a home in the 5900 block of Northwest Ketona Circle on Feb. 18, according to Port St. Lucie Police reports.
At about 7:45 a.m., officers, who responded to a reported shooting at a home, found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside the home. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Preliminary information indicates the incident stemmed from a dispute inside the home. The suspected shooter, identified as a family member, fled the area in a vehicle before officers arrived, according to police reports.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation and is an isolated incident involving individuals who know each other.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available and when it will not compromise the integrity of the investigation, police said.
