JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida softball fell to No. 4/5 Florida, 8-0, on Wednesday evening at UNF Softball Complex.
 
Florida used the long ball to jump out to an early lead over UNF with a pair of home runs to lead 3-0 after the first inning and extended their lead throughout the next four innings.

For the Ospreys, redshirt junior outfielder Kalyn McCarthy roped a double down the right field line in the third inning. For McCarthy, it marked her second extra base hit of the season.
