A teenager was taken into custody after an hours-long SWAT standoff in Miami Township on Wednesday night.Law enforcement was called to the area of Deerfield Road early Wednesday evening.According to an officer with the Miami Township Police Department, a teenager had a warrant from Clermont County Juvenile Court and refused to come out of the house.Investigators were told the teenager had a gun and called SWAT to help get the teenager to come out of the house.After about three hours, SWAT negotiators convinced the teenager to come out of the house and confirmed he was armed.No injuries were reported.WLWT is working to learn more about why the teenager had a warrant out and more details in the investigation.
