The Florida State Seminoles are pursuing three-star defensive lineman Adrian Williams, who is from Jacksonville, Florida. He has been a frequent visitor to Tallahassee during his recruitment and has built a relationship wth offensive line coach Herb Hand.

It was Hand who extended him a scholarship offer from the Seminoles back in May of 2025, and Williams told Marcus Benjamin of Rivals that he is a fan of his coaching style.

“Coach Hand actually came to the school last offseason and offered me a few days before the spring game, and ever since then, he’s been reaching out to me and keeping that contact. Sometimes when you walk into Florida State’s stadium, it has a different energy. Coaching-wise, I feel like they are going to put it on you. Coach Hand, he’s a roughneck type of coach, and I like that, and he’s going to push you to be the best you can be.”

Williams is ranked as the No. 773 overall player and No. 83 defensive lineman in the Rivals industry ranking. He is also the No. 91 player from Florida.

The Seminoles already have a four-star edge rusher committed in Anthony Cavallaro, but they are still looking for their first commitment from a defensive lineman. Williams has already visited Tallahassee three times and will be a target to watch moving forward due to Hand’s work.
